At Summers Corner, we believe that kids should be able to walk to school… and see all those things you can’t quite grasp from behind the window of a car. Like how slowly a caterpillar moves across the sidewalk. How a blooming flower changes from day to day. Or how walking a few blocks can turn neighbors into best friends. It doesn’t get much better than that.
That’s why students in grades K-5 are able to walk to Sand Hill Elementary, and experience our ‘outdoor classroom’. And in 2018, kids in 6th through 8th grade will be able to do the same, thanks to the new Summers Corner location of Rollings Middle School of the Arts, an audition-based school with a performing and visual arts focus.
Summers Corner students also attend Gregg Middle School and Ashley Ridge High School (a 10- and 5-minute drive, respectively.) And all four schools are part of highly acclaimed Dorchester District Two.
