Scarecrows on the Square, an annual Junior Service League of Summerville event, is back for 2019! The event will be held in the newly renovated Hutchinson Square. Guests of all ages are invited to tour the Scarecrow display, featuring Scarecrows created by local businesses, organizations, schools, and individuals, and vote for their favorite.
Votes are only $0.25 each and will be collected at Guerin’s Pharmacy, Cuppa Manna Cafe and Simple Treasures. Voting runs from October 13 to 20. Proceeds support JSL of Summerville’s School Supply Fund for Dorchester School Districts 2 and 4.
Ribbons will be placed on winning scarecrows on October 23.
