Postcards from the Sweet Tea Trail

The historic Timrod Library is pleased to announce the return of the award-winning storytelling series �Postcards From the Sweet Tea Trail.�� Resident Storyteller Tim Lowry will present eight concerts featuring stories from local history, folklore of the Old South, holiday favorites, and literary classics.

The 2015/2016 concert season includes:

September 18 � Every Inch a Gentleman, Stories from Colonial South Carolina

October 16 � Two Dead Fishermen and Other Grave Tales, Folklore of the Old South

November 20 � Home Sweet Home, Stories of the American Family

All shows begin at 3:00 pm at the Timrod Library, 217 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Admission is $18 ($3 discount for Timrod members) and includes light refreshments.
