Successful Gardening Resolutions
10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Summers Corner
1609 Beech Hill Road Summerville, SC 29485
Winter is no time for gardeners to go dormant. That’s why Summers Corner and the Clemson Extension Master Gardeners have partnered up to present an informative gardening seminar.
Successful Gardening Resolutions will be presented Saturday, January 23 at 10 a.m. at the Corner House (1609 Beech Hill Road). Led by Master Gardener and tutor Judy Larocque, the session will focus on best practices for winter and beyond. Among the seeds Larocque will plant that day:
- Accomplishing the gardening “to-do” list that never got done in 2015
- How to make the most of pruning, planning and preparing one’s garden now
- Why native plants are key to a successful South Carolina garden, and how to make the most of them in any landscape.
Seats are limited so please RSVP early. Secure your seat here.
Participants will be provided take-home lists of native plants ideal for a local garden, a season-by-season planting guide, and a special surprise from Summers Corner, the new “community in a garden.”
A hot beverage will also be served to guests, who should plan for approximately 90 minutes of lecture and Q&A time.
