The Big Event 2019 benefiting the DD2 Foundation

Presented by Limehouse & Sons, The Big Event is coming back and it gets better every year! Join us at The Ponds on March 23 as we raise funds to train the future workforce of the Lowcountry!

We are planning another fun night of music, drink, fabulous food and an auction. Play our famous game of “heads or tails”, bid on exciting items in the auction, and dance the night away! Purchase tickets for $75 each through March 19, or at the door for $100.

The Big Event benefits the Dorchester Two Educational Foundation (DD2 Foundation). The vision of the Foundation is to support Dorchester School District Two in producing world class students who are world ready. In collaboration with leaders from many facets of the Lowcountry, the district has determined that implementation of an Advanced Manufacturing Program will serve the needs of students and industry alike. Our goals through this endeavor are to prepare our students for well-paying jobs, support existing industries, play a key role in the recruitment of new industry, and build a pipeline of talented local workers able to fill the existing and forecasted labor shortage.
